I like Dean Wade as a player a lot, and would love to have him on our team. But I would be shocked if he won POTY.
How long before Surly starts up an identical thread?
I think Shayok is going to give that honorable mention list a hard run.
KSU is good and will be a tourney team no doubt, but let's not forget the path they had last March. I can't see them living up to the hype.
Getting back to the EE and competing for the top of the Big 12 are significantly different. I think they’ll have more success in conference play than they did last year.
Agreed. But to be fair, it's hard for any school that isn't a blueblood to make consecutive deep tourney runs.
Dean is an excellent college player but POY is a stretch IMO and I doubt it'll end up that way. The coaches like voting seniors to preseason awards to reward their impact over 4 years.
I would actually predict Lard finishing on the first team possibly above Wade. Cam's importance and now playing time has increased with the Young injury news.
If that holds up, I can't see how it's not connected to ISU having a nice season.
