That Iowa game was awful, and really brings down where our offense is right now overall. Since Purdy, we have been pretty good on offense. I do like seeing our red zone scoring way up there!

I’m a little surprised at how much OSU changed. Their O is down and if Purdy’s number vs them was under what others have done the defense must be really struggling

Considering some teams play absolutely no one in the non con and others have a real challenging game (or even two), I use conference-only stats as soon as there are 3 or 4 games played in conference.

Our defense continues to improve in the three year trend and we have had continuity in staff.

Our offense is not impressive in the three year trend, but when you consider probably no other team has had five different QB in three years (Lanning, Park, Kempt, Noland, Purdy) and lost their OC coming into this year, it will be nice to see what some continuity can deliver going forward.

I think just having more games to mitigate the Iowa game will help the 2018 Offense number. I’d expect that to improve as the bad outlier game gets more games diminishing its impact.

As for any other team with the QB rotation issues it’s hard to argue anyone other than maybe Kansas or Baylor on that. Certainly doesn’t help.

I'd also look to see Purdy exploiting the TTech defense with the big play...6 per game of 20+ yds and 4 per game of 30+ yds. They are second only to OSU on giving up the big plays.
