Is Randy attempting a joke?
No wonder NU struggles to make the tournament, they change their plays per coaching change.

You take the box score, you then factor in Jacobson "knowing" the Nebraska plays, inconclusive is the only answer.
I don't get this notion that we had an advantage because Jacobson "knows their plays". Our coaches would know their plays anyway from watching film and he played there 2 years ago. If they haven't changed their play signals/calls in 2 years, they've got problems.

A coaching staff is highly unlikely to use that to their advantage in a scrimmage, where the point is to get better in a game-like atmosphere. It's not like you'll have that advantage again during the season, so why use it in a meaningless scrimmage?

Not sure why Randy added the Jacobson point other than just emphisize that the result of a scrimmage doesn't matter to the regular season. Still Jacobson being a former Husker has very little to do with the result.

Nebby has a lot of roster turnover the past two years and I am sure have different plays as a result. Not to mention a scrimmage is used to put your team and players in game like action to run your plays and I would doubt the coaches institute a game plan against the opponents and ask Jacobson to provide a detailed scouting report.

Just a strange comment, which I am sure he'll defend for no reason on Cyclone Insiders Tuesday. Best to just ignore.

Randy is weird. We have a cat that is really weird and it is endearing and entertaining. Randy isn't a cat.

However, I admit to listening to the weekly show that CW does with him and Tommy just to have a belly laugh.
Their show is pure comedy. Or maybe it’s amazement on how bad their “insight” is..

Yeah not a lot of actually in depth sports knowledge in that group.

But CW, knows that and doesn’t act like he does. He’s the only one worth listening too.

All of those super secret trick basketball plays! How to keep them all straight! o_O

You'd think after years and years and years the Washington Generals would pick up on what the Globetrotters are running.

Where Lard?.........

Interesting that Tyrese was bench player to get the most minutes, not what I expected. I know he has been a pleasant surprise so far but with the mono and being skinny I figured he wouldn't be playing much this game.

Thanks for posting...

As was mentioned by another poster, this could have been the future action on Lard.

Pretty impressive to take it to them without him.

Shayok is going to be a beast, and I love the 10-10 FT.

THT was the second leading scorer, and leading fouler lol.

Looks like Lindell focused on running the team and deferred a bit on scoring.

No Lard, no Talley, no Young, and Wigginton shot poorly and they beat a solid NU squad. It's a scrimmage, but I'd say that's a pretty decent indicator that this team is talented.

Freshman minutes were interesting as well - that's probably the most I took out of this. Haliburton may be further along than we thought and his weight got updated on the official site to 170+. Lard at 245 now, too...
