Has KU announced a fire sale on tickets yet? Should be able to get them cheap. Drive down Friday after work. Go to the game and be back home Saturday evening.

I dont mind the away games at 11. Gets the waiting over with.
I can't say I disagree. I live in CO so it allows me to get up early, go hang out at the coffee shop streaming gameday before walking 2 blocks over to the gamewatch! mmm...morning beers.

I went to Lawrence for a football game once. It was one of the most painful sports experiences of my life.

I don't care if we're favored by a hundy, I don't see myself ever wanting to go back to that place.

Heading down Friday night for this one. For some reason, last week ESPN's site had this game scheduled for Friday so I thought it would be that night instead. Not sure if something changed or if it was always set for Saturday.

Anyway, I like a road trip every now and then, even if it's to a **** hole like Lawrence. Like hanging out with other fans who are dedicated enough to follow the team.

Agree, and it obviously doesn’t matter with Kansas but I’d rather our team not go into a hostile night crowd anywhere else. 11 am road games are the best.

Agreed on this front as well. I kind of feel like in general 11am games are best for the road team, and night games provide the greatest home field advantage

yeah ESPN had like 3 or 4 of our games on Fridays so it was a typo!

Thinking about going down to Lawrence for the game. Anybody have experience with tickets? I know they're cheap on stubhub, but will there be scalpers selling tickets even cheaper on gameday?

Will be in KC that weekend. Debating heading to Lawrence for the game or just watch it in the P&L or Westport bars.

Leaning towards the bars...

KU has averaged 23,000 tickets sold for each of their games so far this year. $5 will get you a ticket as there are not 23,000 butts in seats at the games.

If the weather is decent, I’d go to the game, but I’m not a bar person. KU has a nice setting, and there’s something awesome about being at a road game in which there are more Cyclone fans than the home crowd.
