Do we cheer for Tech to win tonight and that would mean we would play the winner of the WV-OU game if we win out?

OU would need to lose out, two loss OU still owns the tiebreaker with us.

No, I think that would could be bad. If OU, ISU, and WVU all end with 2 losses (meaning OU ends up beating WVU after losing tonight), it might get hairy on the deeper tiebreakers with our loss to TCU.

ISU has the tie breaker over WVU.

Not if it's a three-way tie, doesn't work like that.
Our record would be 1-1, and so would theirs. So it'd go to record over teams lower in standing, pretty sure.
Ohh I see what you’re saying, because they all beat each other...
Holy headache.

Tech wins tonight and we control our own destiny. OU wins and there is one scenario left where we don't make the title game if we win out (WV wins out and OU doesn't lose until the WV game).
OU has the tie-breaker over us so they can lose one game and still go to the championship game if they win out (including West Virginia.) If you think West Virginia is going to win out, then root for TT. There are enough different scenarios still that I'll probably root for Tech as the underdog, but be happy that it's marginally better for ISU for OU to win.

So moral of the story is that we do not want a 3-way tie that includes OU, the best way to avoid that is if they win out and take the #1 spot outright, right?

I repeat, if Tech wins tonight we control our own destiny. In the last game between OU and WV, either WV wins and we get in over OU with one less conference loss or if OU wins we get in over WV because they are 0-2 in the three way tie.

Yeah I think this makes sense. But I still think it's easier to say and understand root for OU and ISU to win out lol.

Unless Tech pulls of the big upset tonight...everyone needs to

I believe this is right...
