Incarnate Word season watch thread

Something tells me that Pollard has a back-up plan ready. The way he pulled together the Incarnate Word game shows me that he is thinking about the contingencies.

I've heard some indirect rumblings that there indeed will be a replacement for IW if they make their playoffs. Not sure who, but I've heard that there will be a game at Jack Trice on Dec 1 no matter what.

I feel bad for their players, if they don't make it. Sounds like I-Word typically isn't very good. I read somewhere had they not cancelled the game to be able to play us, that that extra win could of helped push them over the bubble. Getting destroyed by isu is great for the program, but not as great as being in the playoffs is for the athletes. Oh well, really hope we get to play. For growing young players and that extra W.
