I am imagining he is a holy terror in the rivals forum but I don't go there. That forum would just agitate me and I am already agitated. He could probably dial it back some on the regular board but does expose trolls that us non-rivals readers don't readily know.

On that topic, I've never fully grasped why some guys who are basic agitators, jerks or complete trolls get so much slack w/o getting the hammer. And the "last word guys" who just cannot resist responding again and again and again to some dead horse beating they mostly started. If they post the most in a argue thread they believe they have won or something.

ISR forum I almost always regret clikcing on the second I do. Im to the point of just trolling him.

the sucky thing is this year should be easy since it's piggybacked on the weekend. Like hey guys, pick Saturday or Sunday then! It's making it easier for us to implement the "home on Christmas Day" rule since it's at the end. I guess we've got a couple years yet before that'll become a sticking point.

MrsWx is partially blaming me as she has been telling me for a while to have this discussion. They can't get together on Saturday because they are going to my grandma's for her 92nd birthday (schedule this morning and incited the email thread) which I can't go to because we already have Christmas with MrsWx's dad side. I asked why they can't do the 23rd so that should be a fun answer.

All of this family Christmas talk reminded me I saw this for sale at Macy's last night.

BTW, I think I am going to take an imaginary trip to Paris to spend Christmas with Monique my imaginary GF. She's French you know!

how is your kid 4, you just had that baby like 2 years ago I swear

I KNOW! We went and saw Santa last week (see attached photo) and he said, "So, that one is ALL BOY, isn't he?" as my preschooler was ninja-jumping off of a bench. They're not babies for long! So definitely cherish every second and write down stuff as you go along so you remember it!

This made me laugh, Im 25 and have a hard time not commiting murder some days with normal-ish sleep.

Same here! But the problem in our house is that I'd be the one to go to jail if they did commit the murder, right? So we can't have that.

Thanks for the reminder with the photo. Need to make sure not to answer any phone calls on the home phone from town I live in. Will not play santa this year for awkward couple now that they are divorced. The whole lot, grandparents and all, is certifiable. Not worth the favor to the wife to be among that level of crazy.

They usually run them for around 15K posts. Too bad some of those threads in the cave aren't similarly limited.

A few in the ISR forum have well over 20k. Most don't like dealing with that crap, I have livestock so I'm used to it. Should make me an ISR mod, it would be much cleaner then.

I can't imagine how tough it would be to be Santa in any capacity. I'd get weirded out with little kids who aren't mine constantly touching me. It's one of the reasons I have SO much respect for daycare teachers, too.

I was more weirded out with the woman of the separated couple touching me and wanting individual photos with santa with the slightly inappropriate clothes she had on.

Thought you were working there, didnt sound like fun. Not sure what she is looking like, but normally looks fine. If I get the call, she is all yours. Warning, she doesn't like passive males. That is what she married (and divorced 2x). Seems like if you tell her off, my style, she enjoys it. I try to just stay quiet now.

Idk, Im sure most on CF would either testify for you or take some of the blame. If all else fails, blame it on Janny

I'd usually turn down a job on a holiday, but it's a family member. It is sort of a mess because Janny's a groomsman, I'm doing photos, and our kids are 8 and 4. They can't stay up until midnight without committing murder the next day, so we're hoping his mom will tag in.

I guess you'll have to start thinking about who the kids will be offing on New Year's Day, then.
