How hard were you partying in 1896, 1903, 1906, 1971, 1976, 1977, 1978, and 2000?
1896 was a blur of a year ;) also, like I said I swear they said that but I must've misheard. I didn't grow up an ISU fan so not super familiar with anything pre 2010

in game i thought yes. but now that the dust has settled, i say no. we beat them head-to-head, are the 3rd place team in the league, and will sell all of our tickets and then some.

today's game was just a weird, weather induced, blip. also, not a lot of people will even notice our game today at a national level.

^This x10 or so. It's a day of conference championship games and no one outside of Iowa saw this game (fortunately).

the only people who care about this are Cyclones, Bulldogs and Hawkeye trolls.

It was like they were wearing the right shoes for the field conditions and we weren't.

Burn the tape, and let's go play a bowl game!

Play the tape on a loop the next four weeks. If that doesn't have us jacked and ready to go for the bowl then I don't know what would.

Also, it was a game broadcast on cyclones.tv and if I’m ISU I’m not sharing footage with anyone to run highlights.

Players are already complaining that the field was impossible to plant and cut on. CMC has already complained about this before this game.

I could easily see it being gone, and that would be a tragedy IMO. I'd HATE to see that. I'm very proud of our field, and feel football should still be played on natural grass.

I think it can be a real advantage at times, but this year the cold, wet weather and a long season had it beaten down to a mud hole. Still no excuse for what we saw today. Drake was having no trouble at all getting pressure on Purdy and until the end of the game ISU never got close to getting to the Drake QB.
