I thought that too, but we've all seen DM spin out of that and get 2-3 more yards a lot of times and I'd get ticked if they blow that play dead. Forward progress is tough to second guess.
Not for that long. DM was getting taken down when the ball came out.

If you want a comparison, look at Butler last year at WVU. They stopped forward progress basically as soon as he got hit.

That was the worst officiated game I've seen in quite some time. I dont know how many times in the last few years Ive screamed at my Tv on reviews because its taking too long, then the most crucial review in the entire game they look at it for 10 seconds.

Out of all the reviews that should take 10 seconds, that wasnt one of them.

Missed False Start on final back shoulder throw.
Missed catch by Eaton, no review cost us final timeout
Missed false start on WSU touchdown at back of endzone
Missed PI in the end zone on Butler with DB holding down his entire left arm

These were the most egregious to me.
Not to mention the second targeting
I know they missed calls (probably some for both teams) and have missed calls before, but I get kind of tired of blaming the refs for every loss.

The replay didn’t show him diving into the end zone??
Hell even I can dive for 3 feet
I didn’t see the ball or anything that confirmed it?

Blows me away that with all the **** calls that is what you are ******** about.

The refs were completely clueless the entire game. That last Purdy touchdown just confirmed it. That ref that came running in from the pylon is the only one who had a clear view of Purdy easily getting into the endzone and he still couldnt make up his mind.

They weren't great by any stretch but there's enough blame to go around on turnovers and penalties that were significantly bigger factors than anything the stripes did.
one of those turn over again fall on the **** refs monty was down by contact or forward progress, we've had way more of those calls go against us then maybe any other team in history. Texas 2013 ring a bell????

Well when those ref calls directly lead to points for them, timeout losses for us, and first downs to seal the game, then yes I am upset. If they call the clear as day false start on the last first down they got, we more than likely get the ball back with a chance to win. So its not so much blaming the refs in general. Its definitive things that tangibly cost us

This crew was bad, probably the second worst crew I can remember. But not even close to Reggie's crew at KSU last year. I cannot blame the outcome of the game tonight on officiating no matter how bad it was. The game last year at KSU..................that is text book how officials dictate who wins and who loses. So while I am not happy with what I saw from the stripes tonight........one less interception, a few less false starts and maybe some better tackling and ISU has nine wins. That is how close CMC has ISU to being a legit top 15 team. I can live with that until September.

WSU got screwed against Washington on a missed targeting so they gave them an extra one.
2nd one was absolute horse ****.
How do they miss at least 2 false starts?
Lastly, how does a guy catch the ball run 1/4 of the way across the field and it's considered a drop?
