So, if you knew - before the game - that LW and THT would go a combined 4-20 from the field, how many of you would have predicted a win (let alone a BLOW OUT). So, even if KU gets 'Buki back for the rematch, I can't imagine LW and THT shooting that poorly again. And, BTW, THT was VERY good even though he didn't score much. 5 assists, no TOs and really played good D! So glad our team doesn't let TOE be our superbowl game every year!

This is REAL depth. Not MadFran depth where you play a ton of guys just because.

We are legit 10-11 players deep. Solomon didn't play really at all today and we're going to have games where he's a key guy.

Fire Bill Self meltdown already started on KU forum

At least on Twitter, there were a lot of excuses by some KU fans. Sorry, but ISU played some pretty good defense today for the most part while KU did not play very good defense. They gave ISU too many open or open-enough shots to shoot better than normal in the 2nd half. A number of the turnovers that KU had today were caused by ISU defense and not necessarily boneheaded plays by Kansas. ISU was just better for the vast majority of the game. IMO the only reason Kansas kept it close in the first half is because ISU did not shoot well for awhile and their rebounding was vastly superior to ISU's.

I think Azubuke (sp?) being out contributed of course to this, so it'll be interesting to see what happens next game. ISU doesn't have an answer for him, but regardless KU at almost no time in this game today (maybe a few minutes) looked better than ISU. ISU looked better for almost the entire game IMO.

I think the underlying reason ISU won so convincingly is because NWB/Shayok/Hali decisively outplayed KU's guards on both sides of the floor. Work Wiggy a bit more into the rotation and flow of the game and Cyclones are going to be tough to beat with this level of guard play.

Fran saying that Halliburton is the best "out of nowhere" freshman from the 70 teams he's seen play is obviously a huge complement to Tyrese, but also the talent evaluating ability of Steve Prohm.

Win 3 or 4 more road games, take care of our remaining games in Hilton, and we might be playing Tech for a conference championship March 9th.
