Huge game today with WVU and Texas coming up at home. Rattle off 3 straight big 12 games would be nice during this stretch.. and maybe grabbing Ole Miss along the way.

I have been feeling as confident today in ISU as I did during the first match up vs KU.
I like the set up for the Clones to pull out after Saturday. ISU took care of business vs OSU and with both Lindell (looking locked in from 3) and Lard (healthy) looking to be getting very comfortable on the court.

Both will be needed in Lawrence. KU hasn't looked totally in sync all year and already had some close calls at the Phog. Now they are coming of the loss in Morgantown after two days. Playing against huggy ball can throw a team in a funk not to mention not executing in the final minutes can hurt a teams confidence.

Winning at KU is always a very difficult task thus we shouldn't expect a win or read to much into one game but this match up is setting up quite well for ISU to make a statement to KU and the B12 in 6 hours.

Go State!!! Beat KU!

Debating whether to follow the game thread on CF or instead log into The Phog during gametime. Can't wait to read all their complaining about Fran.

Iowa State is the better team, talented team when everything is running smoothly. The question is whether or not this team can over come the refs.

We won big (KU). Maintained lead and won close (TTU). Couldn't make enough plays and lost close (BU). Had lead but lost in final seconds(KSU). Only one left is to be down and comeback and win in final min.

You're better than this Cade
It’s more of a superstition thing. Some fans have their lucky shirt that makes them feel more confident, mine is that we are 0-2 this season while being ranked and that I like how we play in an underdog role. My opinion also means nothing so once again it confuses me why it gets people worked up.

Really no reason to be nervous for this one (tell that to me when it's tight late and I'm hyperventilating) as it's nothing to lose and everything to gain.

I agree. I’m not nervous for this game at all. Nobody expects anyone to win at Phog Allen. Ranked or unranked my views on this game don’t change. That being said, it isn’t the greatest week to enter the rankings though if you were wanting it to last. Very tough week of games.
