We're better than Kansas

Unfortunately that’s been true. The ball gets stuck in his hands in an otherwise (mostly) unselfish team. He’d be better served to play with the rest of the team and let the shots come to him - they’d clearly be there.

Not only that, but he seems to force things far too often. That coupled with his frequent out of control drives to the basket that result in turnovers. Maybe we stop telling him how many NBA scouts are in attendance so he doesn’t feel like he has to prove he’s the prettiest girl in school in front of them.

I honestly think K-State is the best team in the league. They sucked earlier but were beat up. Lawson is a stud, but outside of that Kansas hasn't impressed me that much. We're really good, but too inconsistent at times.

Great effort today. I was expecting a win that whole game tonight until KU hit that final three because I could tell we are the better team.

LW absolutely killed us tonight. And Lards 5 minute contribution didn’t help

I'd say Dedric Lawson killed us really. 29 points, 15 rebounds on 13-17 shooting - 76.5% shooting. Hell, the guy even went 2-2 on 3 pointers tonight - he's a 20% shooter this year from 3 point range. Just saying. Obviously we could have played better defense, but some of those shots he put up on good D were going in too.

We outplayed Kansas for most of the game, but ultimately what matters at the end of the day is the score. I figured we'd have a good shot at the game, but didn't expect it to be that close, especially leading for the most of the game. I am pretty proud of how the team played tonight.

I don’t disagree, but they seem to have issues with their fellow instate school - even in Manhattan.

We played a great first half, except for the turnovers. Self adjusted and told his players to take it to the hoop. ISU kept shooting 3's and when they stopped falling, we lost the lead, and then the game
How many points did we give up off the KU weave, a ton. I have said it before, we need to take the ball to the hoop and finish, we were doing that in the 1st half but could not finish, in the end, it caught up with us.

There is no great team in the league this year. I think ISU, KU, KSU and Texas Tech areprobably all top 10-25 teams. We'll have to sweep Texas Tech and get a win at KSU to have a chance to win the league imo. Big 12 tourny could be a blast this year with 4-5 teams having a legitimate chance to win.

Wigg might really be regretting coming back at this point.
Also, this team just hates to dive into the paint. We were in the bonus, drive. Stop just chucking 3's
That's what did it. Just saw on ESPN that KU outscored ISU 24-6 in the paint in the 2nd half. And KU finally did better guarding the three so most of ISU's shots ended up being long 2 pt. jumpers.

ISU certainly has a better offensive team than Kansas. We stunk pretty good for a nice chunk of this game tonight but had one hot streak and some nice drives to the rim down the stretch.

Glad KU was able to pull out the win and salvage what was one of the worst weekends I have experienced in a long time. ISU looks good; they are absolutely going to be in the running for the Big 12 title this year. ISU is much more balanced than Texas Tech, who can't score outside of one good player. This KU team has problems; Self has his work cut out for him to try to get the Big 12 title.

True, but Barry Brown will school the guards they have and Wade will do what he does.
