rounds out our non-conf in a way that it can’t be criticized at all, especially given the 2-4 missing pieces for most games

Gotta love the shooting in this game. Wiggs and Lard both with nice games after the KU disappointments!

Great win, Cyclones!

The numbers on this game are amazing:
  • 69% shooting from the field
  • 53% from 3
  • 34-28 RB edge
  • 26 assists on 38 made baskets
  • 46 pts in the paint
  • 28 pts off the bench
  • Held OM to 36% total FG
All that more then makes up for the 19 TOs.

Overall, a really nice, NCAA-resume building win.

I thought we lived and died by the 3 pointers o_O

Any win is great.

Any road win is better.

Not sure how good Ole Miss really is but who cares. ISU may start to really come along.

But what about in-bounds plays. We'll only go as deep in the tourney as our in-bounds plays let us... ;)

Did anyone else notice the odd exchange between Wiggs and THT when Wiggs got subbed out at the end? When Wiggs was walking along the bench after being subbed out, he shook hands with all but THT. THT gave a WTF look, then extended his hand a second time when Wiggs came back around. Wiggs obliged, somewhat reluctantly. Seemed odd.

Nice to see the confidence that all were playing with. Wiggs was shooting much better today (and the charge he was called for at the end was total BS...dude wasn't even touched). THT was on fire!

Thinking I was picking a 7 to 8 point win in another thread.
Just felt Mississippi is an overachieving team, (they were picked to finish last) and if they had to play a good team that they don't see in conference they would have issues.

Would rather play an overachieving team vs an underachieving one.
Because you know what their best shot is, but there is a chance they will fall back to what they are.

Solid win.
