A little worried about handling the ball against the press without Babb but excited to see what Lindell can do back in the starting lineup. I'm sure he'll play great and the next 2 weeks will be jam packed with "Wigginton should be starting" threads.
Without reading further (someone may have mentioned already) ZT ate their press up last year.

Anyone else think WVU may go back to their old ways of high pressure b-ball if NWB is out? The other guards will need to take better care of the rock, or turnovers could be an issue. We will need THT, LW, and a Shayok to have more controlled drives to the basket. WVU hardly pressured us at all in the earlier game compared to past seasons. It was kind of weird to watch them not hacking our guys as much.

I don't know if Huggy has the team to play the style he wants this year. I'd welcome them to press us, though. We can still beat the press and run down-hill without Babb. Talley, in particular, has proven very capable of handling WVU's press.

I hope Talley gets a bunch of PT. I’ve always liked the kid’s hustle and grit no matter what the game situation is. I was really hoping to see more of him this year.

Poor Nick. I still find him underappreciated. We have been living on the edge of a cliff with his health all season long, though, and it seems to have caught up slightly.

I hope he can still start on senior night and play in Kansas City. If anybody thinks missing him does not reduce our chances in the postseason, they are insane.

He is the old man of the program. He deserves so much <3.

He's such an odd case. I'd argue he's the bellwether of the team. We were at our best when he was playing tough defense and looking for his offense. As his play has slipped, so has the team's.

One of the more unsettling things I saw on Saturday was that when he went down, not one of his teammates came over to see if he was OK. Hell, it seemed like it took the trainer 20-30 seconds to get over there. Like his brother, you get the sense he is misunderstood, if not disliked by some of his teammates. His demeanor can be offputting.

There were rumors on this board in the off-season that he was looking to grad transfer. That he and Wigginton did not want to split the point and/or just didn't like each other.

Nick seems like he'd be the friendliest guy on the team (other than maybe Tyrese I guess).

What’s off-putting about his demeanor?

He doesn't play with much fire. This was a main narrative when he took over the point last season, if you remember Monte's comments.

When the team isn't playing well, his injuries start popping up more, seem more painful...

They don't press this year.
