you gotta wonder if Lon's seat will get warm, they've tanked the last two seasons after promising starts

He is a good coach also. Goes to show winning isn't easy no matter how good of a coach you are. I wonder if he gets out before he is forced out. Nebraska maybe. Iowa should be giving him a call, but wont.

I've gotta disagree with "OU out," I think they're relatively safe, barring lots of upward movement on the bubble. Loss might drop it to 10 seed.

Edit: Worst thing for OU now is it can do nothing to improve its position.
Same with Iowa unfortunately

I STILL don't get how OU is even in the conversation for NCAAs.

They are 7-11 in conference. 19-13 overall. Their best non-con win is probably @ Dayton. That's probably their best road win too. How on earth are they gonna make the NCAA? I just don't see it.

What am I missing kids?

It shows you good coaches can do bad jobs.
It’s also possible Lon is accelerating away from his prime.

What you’re missing is that the other teams on the bubble have even worse resumes than OU.
