But would hypothetically turn down Kentucky, Tennessee, or Florida to stay in Ames? I'll have 2 of whatever you are having.
I name Bama and LSU because he went to Bama and he paid his coaching dues in the state of Louisiana before going to Murray State.

Naming Kentucky, Tennessee and Florida as landing spots is a little random. Kentucky can hire literally anyone. And at this point are Florida and Tennessee jobs that much better than ISU?

We're on the eve of our 3rd NCAA Tournament appearance in 4 years under Prohm and this thread is already 10 pages deep. You'd think our program sucks with the way some here talk about it and our head coach around here lately.

Can you IMAGINE the level of hypertension, heavy breathing, and heart failure happening in this state if Prohm leaves while Hoiberg is on the market???

And the amount of open letters to Fred if the job opened up but he still went elsewhere, or nowhere at all?

Don't forget the Big 10 will be taking KU and Texas, the SEC will be taking both Okies, the ISU will then be headed to the AAC or MWC, Pollard will be leaving for Wisconsin, Hines writes about the team stuck sleeping on the bus, half the team declares or transfers after a loss by a blarge.

And the entire state runs out of Busch Light

That’s kind of been my whole point the whole last month when he was dragging us back to the dark days of Iowa State basketball

Coaches. And climate. Don Camham was a hell of a coach. And it’s cold there. And basketball is a big sport in michigan.
Canham? He was a great football centric AD. As good as he was, Michigan basketball had limited support many times throughout the years. Yet, they’ve also had a lot of success.

All things to consider before you make claims about Bama being a sleeping giant. You don’t just look for a lack of support when labeling sleeping giants.

Given the great impact just one or two players can have, and the limited arena size, the list of programs that can be very good with a good coach is long.

Haha.

I would ignore the rest of the post too if this is what your agenda is.

Your ignorance has no bounds, but at least this time it’s on Michigan athletics.

That’s something I’ve come to appreciate about posters like you. I have a feeling never coming out of character is easy for you ;)

You've got a problem when no other school wants your coach. I'm glad we don't have that problem.

Very true, you wont see rumors of anyone courting Mad Fran any time soon if ever again unless Mississippi Valley State comes callin.

You’re right, it was Dave Strack who took the assistant AD job under Canham who was the track coach prior to being ad.

Strack had lost to UCLA in 65 with Cazzie Russell.

However, as always, you purposefully ignore any single thing that doesn’t fit your agenda.
