Yup. Prohm is simply incapable of teaching Prohm guys how to dictate tempo against anyone other than low-level mid-major teams like Eastern Illinois. The offensive game plan is hoping they go 12-18 from 3. The worst part might be that he just doesn’t play an entertaining brand of basketball. He’s not fun, they’re not fun—it’s just not really fun to watch. There are 200 guys out there who could do better.
We won the Big 12 championship so the season ends as a success, but we were never able to find the last couple pieces of the puzzle to get the chemistry right. Sucks. When the draw came out my expectations for this game went down as I didn't think we could run with the UH anyway.
Maybe this game marks the end of the 4G offense at ISU and given what we have coming back for big's(Jake, Cam, Solo and George) I won't object.

Seriously, watch Monte play with Jokic now that ISU is done. Tonight's game, our offense, and OSU's offense more closely match a 1st grade dodgeball game than they do even a bad NBA game.
Alot of people were talking about this back in January and February when Baylor and TCU were abusing us inside. I agree with you guys that we should have played 2 bigs in certain situations, but if Prohm had no interest in doing that earlier he sure the hell wasnt going to change tonight.

My point is it seemed like some dumb imaginary rule that they could never play together. It was clearly needed tonight. 3 of our gaurds were more than a match for anything they had in their backcourt.
No, I honestly haven't. I dont even remember the last time we scored out of a timeout. We usual pass it a couple times and take a long contested three.
