Interesting development with Caleb Grill. Wonder if it is someone they would take in addition to taking Nadolny or is it an either/or?

This is intriguing. New name to the guard list held TxTeh and Neb offers before going to SDSU. I'd guess the staff will see about Nadolny, prior to offering but we'll see.

Grill is interesting, he's got a variety of offers. It would seem kind of weird to take both he and Jackson, both are small-ish point guards. I guess it would help that they could play along side the 6'6 PG we already have on the roster. Wonder why UNLV is out of it? Already set on PG?
A guy from SDSU does not fill me with confidence, but that offer list is nice.
That would be one nice last gift from TJ, if it were to happen.

Man if Grill can knock down the 3 I seriously think we have been missing that since Thomas left. I don't think we need a point guard out of him but that is what he is listed as.

Grill looks like a kid that could be really good in a couple years. T.J. usually has a pretty good eye for talent.
It was a very big get for TJ. It could be good for us.
Chris Beard and Texas Tech wanted him. If Beard wanted him we should want him.
A little video on Grill. Kid looks like a decent athlete. Throws down a couple nice dunks. A different player than I expected. Looks like he played off the ball quite a bit in high school.

Is it weird to have two 6’0”+ pgs that can shoot and also play shooting guard? Grill is listed at 6’2” and seems fairly athletic. Perhaps we’ll actually be able to defend the smaller, quick backcourts.
That's kind of the kicker for me, it'd be tough to see Prohm go with 2 smaller guards in the same class. To be fair, based on the film I've seen of Grill (which is like only 10 minutes total..), he and Jackson look like very different players.

Does it matter they’re in the same class?
Lots of teams have a 6’1” and a 6’2” player in their rotation.
