If you go deep enough on the bench you can get some downunder accent.

Don't forget we also had Lauren Mansfield after Allison. :)

Yup. Lauren is from Hobart, Tasmania. We also had Bride last season who was from Brisbane, Queensland.

Oregon wins over Mississippi State!! 88-84

Sabrina Ionescu is an incredible player! Very fun team to watch. Go Ducks!!!
Agree! Very impressed with her and the Ducks. My favorite team until the clones return to the hardwood.

I felt it was more the TV people calling them"underdogs" and pointing out all their weak points.

Well, when all the #1's and #2's make the Elite Eight the #2's have to be the underdogs. ;)

Weren't any Cinderellas for announcers to fawn over. 12 of the 15 1st, 2nd and 3rd team All-Americans were on the Elite Eight teams.

I got the impression both MSU, and Stanford were teams we could beat on a good day, watching that game. I am still waiting to watch the ISU MSU game. It got harder to stomach the loss after seeing MSU Stanford.

Well thank you nwicy you're a great friend and I'm glad I've met you personally a couple of times. In the main I've noticed that 99% of the true WBB fans on here are really decent to deal with. The better a program is the better the fans will understand the nature of the game and appreciate others accomplishments. But when there is no football or mens bb going on, this forum and ours here at home as well gets a lot of long lost visitors who apparently have little bitty wee wee's and basically all they care to do is bash others. What a life.

The next game is going to be tough. Oregon has got a well balanced team. But maybe we can pull it off. Meanwhile I'm glad we were able to send the Birds of Prey back home. Hope this pleased most of the ISU fans. :D

REMEMBER. KC next year. WBB tourney. Let's all be there.

Looks like Baylor stomped all over Iowa.
Baylor embarrased the Hawks.

On a neutral floor an Iowa/Iowa State mixup would be a pretty even if not an interesting match. Iowa never recruited Bridget (I believe) but we all but had Goose penciled in. Just think Bridget and Goose, two All Americans-oh what could of been. Now instead of rooting for the girl I could care less if I ever hear of her again.
