Not happy about it, and not rooting for any kind of success in Lincoln either but the reality is that the ONLY thing than could jeopardize Hoiberg's legacy at ISU, is failing as ISU's coach.
By leaving Ames as a winner, his legacy is secure no matter what happens to him elsewhere after that. And we have his cult here as proof of that.

Legacy means different things to different people I guess. He was #1 on my ISU Mt. Rushmore. He's not anymore. I guess that's defined by the ISU fanbase as a whole, but I think there are more that feel the way I do than don't. Time will tell.
