I thought Milorganite wasn't supposed to be spread for another month or so?

https://www.milorganite.com/using-milorganite/rates-and-schedule

It’s getting warm enough that I figured I would give it a shot. Also trying to get the grass going so to counter that he dog tearing it up running around.

Keep your windows closed for a few days. Stuff stinks to all hell. Getting harder (and more expensive) around Cedar Rapids than it used to be. Stores can't keep the stuff in stock.

Part of why I wanted to get it down now was hoping the rain the next day or so helps with that. Ended up needing to go grab another bag too as I ran out. Earl May has it for $15/bag. Will shop around more next time.

Fleet farm has 5 bags for $28 this week. It’s $6-8/bag at most farm stores.

Anyone have recommendations for company in the Des Moines metro area who does lawn renovation, i.e. till it up, put down good top soil, seed, or sod?

Decided to go with milorganite. Problem is that Walmart, Home Depot, Menards, and Fleet Farm in Ankeny are out of stock

******* dandelions everywhere already here in central OH plus some new yard “flowers” that weren’t present in Iowa. The battle begins. Get the crossbow mixed.

How far into the neighbors yard can I safely spray Crossbow to keep the creeping charlie at bay?

I aim the sprayer nozzle over the fence and spray their crop of creeping charlie. Seems I spend more time keeping squirrels, rabbits, and neighbor weed problems out of my yard than I do my taking care of my own yard.
