It’s getting warm enough that I figured I would give it a shot. Also trying to get the grass going so to counter that he dog tearing it up running around.

Keep your windows closed for a few days. Stuff stinks to all hell. Getting harder (and more expensive) around Cedar Rapids than it used to be. Stores can't keep the stuff in stock.

Part of why I wanted to get it down now was hoping the rain the next day or so helps with that. Ended up needing to go grab another bag too as I ran out. Earl May has it for $15/bag. Will shop around more next time.

3-4 years ago I can remember getting 4 bags for $10 there on sale. Good times.

No, that's a good idea. I'm going to try Ace tomorrow, and if that doesn't work out, I guess I can venture to the south side as it looks like that's the closest one.

There’s a bomgaars in Grimes and one on 14th just north of 80/35 behind the Bonanza.

Crossbow is fantastic. Does wonders on creeping Charlie.

I aim the sprayer nozzle over the fence and spray their crop of creeping charlie. Seems I spend more time keeping squirrels, rabbits, and neighbor weed problems out of my yard than I do my taking care of my own yard.

My backyard neighbor works nights. So I spray a 10 foot weed buffer in his yard once I see his car leave. His side neighbor usually is 5 minutes behind me
