I haven't been there in a long time but I do remember the pork tenderloins at Cliff's Place in Manning.
They were so big that you would fold them in half and they still spilled out of the bun!

I went there a few times.

That place was diiiiiiiirty. I went in there last fall after an ISU football game and it smelled bad like rotten and had gnats flying all over.

Hope they can rebuild and improve the facility. I 'm a big fan of what they do.

Anyway, Polk City Pub has a fantastic pork tenderloin.

Yes, I was at Cole's about 2 weeks ago, just before the fire. Terribly dirty but the tenderloin was fantastic. The guy was very friendly. Hope he gets it rebuilt. Look like he could use some help on food safety and keeping it clean. Wish him well.

Union 29 at Jordan Creek (New place that opened across from the Movie Theater) has a pretty good tenderloin for a decent price ($15 with a side i think).

They also have Tenderloin strips for appetizer or small plate serving

Yes, Prairie City is where Goldie's is located (a couple blocks from my house actually. I know, scary thought......). Here's a couple pictures for your viewing pleasure....

I'm sure it is good, but sometimes I would like to have one that is a little thicker instead of the size of a large pizza. That or get a second bun so you can get the condiments on more than half of the sandwich.

I nominated Smokin BBQ Pits in Cedar Rapids. Smoked tenderloin, then hand breaded and fried when you order. It's amazing.

Went and tried this one yesterday.

It’s good and the smoke comes through.

Don’t know if it will win against the more “traditional” versions.

Well worth nominating.

Just ate one. They must not make them as big anymore but still big enough to fill me up. 2 thumbs up!!!

Newton Paradise Cafe in downtown Waterloo has a great tenderloin. Big enough for 2 meals. Finished in the top 3 a few years ago I believe.

I was in Ames over the weekend so made the trip to Ogden to try the Lucky Pig. The tenderloin was truly very very good. BUT that’s all that was good. Girlfriend had the ribeye; meat was good but poorly seasoned. My onion rings were hideous. My daughter’s Cuban was ok, but not great. I’d go back for the tenderloin though.

What was wrong with the onion rings? I don't believe I've ever tried them.
