Butler to my hometown Cowboys? Yes, please.
Jerry historically has a weakness for big receivers with bigger egos. 'Keem we know is big and has been playing the big swag part to a T. I think he is doing it because he thinks that is what they expect out of him - and it just might work.

Lazard being an UDFA was not proven or disproven by last year. He should have been drafted and we will likely see the result of that in the next couple years.

The NFL looking at Campbell doesn’t prove anything either. In fact I’d say it probably says the opposite and it probably has a point. The NFL is amazed he has done as well as he has with “bad” players.

People also have to recognize that the frustration blends between the two leagues. On the NBA side we had 5 players make the playoffs and the top pick of them was Georges at #50.

My question is who has gone to the NFL and not exceeded/met expectations?

Should have been drafted according to whom? All the experts on here? But u r right, the next couple years will be a better measuring stick than his first year in the league.

The point remains, though, that I highly doubt NFL teams collude against ISU to avoid drafting players. As for your comment about being the opposite effect for Campbell, not buying that. He and his staff have developed players. We have more playmakers, depth and players with higher ceilings than before his era. I wouldn’t call them “bad” players”.

I don’t think there is a conscious effort to not draft our guys. I think there is an unconscious bias against them though.not sure if it is style or what but the NBA guys have proven them wrong.

I agree Campbell has developed players and brought in a lot of talent. I’m just not sure the NFL recognizes that.

If they really don't recognize it because it's ISU, they will if things remain as they are now (or get better).

It's kind of like the 'ISU can't win because the conference is so tough' mantra when it was because ISU wasn't very good.

Arcega-Whiteside is not a better receiver than Hakeem, but again, glad he’s not an Eagle

Nobody was on his level this year downfield. Teams are going to regret it if they penciled in a handful of guys as better deep threats.

Boy, Kiper has no love for either Hakeem or David. Still no sign of either when they show his Best WR or Best RB available
