That's fair to say. I will say this, if Iowa had a more consistent quarterback their receiver production would definitely be a lot better.
100% agree their, Stanley irritates me with that. Purdy is a great talent for ISU.

TE = drop off, WR = increased production. Remains to be seen with regards to being significant drop off in production. That is up to how the running game and offensive philosophy plays out during the year.

I guess I don't understand why your WR will be better this year when your best WR by far just graduated

He was terrific last year and if he keeps up what he did and improves he's only gonna get better. Can definitely see why Alabama and A&M wanted him.

I do not think by far is fair. He was basically the number 3 receiving option with Fant and Hock around. he was a possessing guy that was good at getting open in zone coverages. Talented yes, but we have better athletes ready to go now and it will be interest to see how they are utilized.

What WR on your roster last year was even close to Easley?

Are Iowa and ISU comparable in offensive style of play? Or does ISU compare better to Big 12 offenses?

Since the arrival of CMC I would argue that Iowa and Iowa State's style of play are pretty similar. Iowa State just hasn't had the o-line to lean on but I do think that changes this year. Both teams want to be run first. Iowa State has moved away from trying to keep up with the run and gun spread offenses in the Big 12.

The issue ISU had after the WV game was keeping him going in the RPO because he was getting banged up a bit. If there was one worry for me as an ISU fan, it is how he holds up for the year. Has some Drew Brees in him, mixed with some Baker Mayfield.

I can not answer that based on production, but I feel like Tracy and Nico are going to be able to produce from that position this year. It remains to be seen who takes that spot. Now, with Martin, he could be the guy that plays where Easley was. And I think he can be very productive from that spot.

OK but that's not the point. I said Easley was your best WR by far last year and you said that wasn't fair

probably a smart move. But this year, Iowa will have the better OL. ISU is building the depth there though.

Just 1 honestly, I stop by from time to time when I am bored. Point out the hypocrisy, cause a defensive pissing contest, which I usually point out the obvious and what is wrong with most statements, and leave.

Why haven't you left yet?

He was not the best receiving threat by far, he was the guy that saw the most targets from his spot. the best receiving threats were Fant and Hock

Purdy's lack of experience led him to want to leave the pocket, usually too early at times, which sometimes got him into trouble. Having a full off season at getting more comfortable to take his time in the pocket, and make a play if play breaks down, is what is going to be fun to watch.

Easley was your best WR last year by far. Not best receiving threat, the best Wide Receiver you had last year. By far. Not sure how you could possibly say that's not fair

I am curious to see how he does without Monty. He was such a good RB, best RB from either Iowa or ISU since Greene IMO.

How many ISU games did you watch last year?

Maybe. We finally have some really solid depth on the o-line. We shouldn't have to shuffle guys around like we have the last couple of years in order to patch things up.
