Looks like most forecasts are calling for a cool wet early morning (upper 50's) but hopefully the weather will get nicer as the day goes on. I love the cool temps for a first game, but I hope meteorologists are wrong on the precipitation. Don't like eating breakfast in the rain!

So what is everyone serving for the first tail gate of the year? My wife and I signed up for the main dish Saturday, we will be doing breakfast tacos, and sweet rolls.
Leaving home at 4:30 sucks, but a day at JTS, with the grandkids and ISU football can not be beat.

Setting the alarm for 3:15am. That part definitely sucks.
Really sucks in a way fox sports picked up this game bc of cyclone tv had it they could move game to say 2-3pm start.. Likeoy gonna be nice then.. but now they are calling for 60% and possible storms.. really crazy honestly given how little rain we’ve had
I’m more worried about lightning. Shades of 2018. The good part? If the weather moves on there is time to okay the game during the day.

This will be fall type weather definitely! We have the AHS football game in Cedar Falls Friday night. Saturday early am is going to suck! Thankfully took Friday off to get things packed for tailgating.

It just never droughts like it used to drought.
Weather.gov is now saying up to 2 inches overnight and still raining all morning and during the game (60 percent). Just an awful forecast.
Jeriann on WHO this morning said less than a quarter inch. Gotta let it play out.
I had an old girlfriend who always told me to bring a raincoat. Never understood her fear of rain but I always had one and an umbrella in the car to keep her happy.
