You guys seriously do not understand what factors are going into this and what has already been said. You are making it out to be harder than it needs to be....clemson already on it week 1....just because espn is on east coast and such does not mean they go to cuse....if it was that easy they would of been there already in the past which they have not....i said it days ago and pages up in this thread...as long as isu and iowa do not have a L on their schedule Gameday will be in Ames....a very trusted source has told me this

Anyone else remember this? Then 40 pages of arguing with me after that on why it would not come....weird.... hahaha

Syracuse would be a 100 % lock if they had won the game. So, there is no strength behind your prediction!
keep thinking that. Very strong source i had before season said they were coming here for sure. check the forum

If Syracuse won their game, it was a stone cold lock to go there. That’s not even a secret.

Please stop, Ryan. You are making yourself look more foolish.

I actually spoke with a producer and it was not even close to a stone cold lock. The stone cold lock thing came from fans trying to guess. However, an ESPN producer I do business with actually told me we were the favorites still after the UNI game.

Easy for the producer to say that now.
It would sound bad for a producer to be like “yeah, we weren’t even going to come here, but Syracuse lost... so here we are.”
Much like a coaching search “yeah, we hired our #1 candidate...”

Syracuse vs Clemson would have been the only ranked matchup this week, at a place they’ve never been, with the ABC primetime slot. It was gifted to Syracuse on a silver platter and they wet the bed.

I actually spoke to him the week after the Iowa State VS UNI game and he said our game looks like it is going to get picked. Didn't mention the outcome of the Syracsue game. I am sure they could have smoked Maryland and jumped out front. However, he told me the whole time it looked like Ames was going to get it.

Also just because a bunch of people on the message boards come to a conclusion that Syracuse is getting something, does not mean it's true. Message board opinions have nothing to do with what is reality.

I'm old enough to remember the back tracking ... the seed of doubt in that stone cold lock.

I bet for every comment you heard like that, Syracuse people heard the same comment from a producer as well.

I don't care if you believe me. I am telling you what a producer told me. You were using as an argument against a guy that Syracuse was a stone cold lock. That is not accurate at all. Not even close. I actually never ever thought they were going to Syracuse and was told straight up that we were most likely getting game day and we were the two teams they wanted. So no, Syracuse was never a lock, not even close. WE were much more of a lock than they were.

My source also worked for ESPN. Sounds like we have 2 damn good sources. I dont even know why i am responding to this anymore. People that have no clue and just go off hearsay are arguing with 2 people with FACTS

I don't know either of you. Why would you call him Ryan? Do you know him personally or what?
His named used to be Rhoho on here. He’s not an ISU fan at all. He’s a panther hawk. His twitter proves that, his full name is also on there.

I wasn’t trying to argue with you earlier, I was more set on proving him wrong. His “source” also said Gameday will be setting the stage up in the intramural fields East of the stadium.
