Huge difference between Penny Hardaway and Hoiberg taking over college basketball programs and someone who has never coached taking over a football program. I guess if he ran it like a CEO and hired the right people it could work. The head coach a lot of times get's way to much credit. The offensive and defensive coordinator and recruiting is the biggest part of college football. I still say it will fail. Although he is a smart guy.
You know nothing about this

CMC is looking to build a Mount Union type program. ISU is a great fit for that. Building that type of program elsewhere might be a tougher fit with the call for immediate results. Once the program is built there will be no reason for CMC to leave.

I'm not dumb enough to think Campbell will be here forever, but he does not seem the type to take the Florida St job.

Dude is a midwesterner through and through.
I agree with this 100%. There is only one thing that could change his mind, and he end up going to FSU --the chance to play for a national championship. Coaching in the ACC is by far the easiest road for him to get there. Long before there was a playoff game, FSU OWNED the ACC.

This might sound incredibly crazy and may be with hard cardinal colored glasses: I truly believe that Taggart did enough to make us above FSU in terms of winning a national championship. I obviously dont believe we will win one before them but I believe we are closer than they are right now
