Just shows you how important Haliburton is to this team. Play without him and we get games like this. Also losing the NBA caliber players (THT, Wiggiginton, Shayok, and Weiler-Babb sure hurt this team when they left.

trash excuse is getting tired. this team coached by someone who half way competent wins this game. This is prohm ball.. where the players win despite a terrible coach.

Welp, I am in from out of state staying with family for the Holidays. I normally go to this late December game, but didn’t this year due to some other plans. I had been regretting it. Not any more.

Prohm has lost multiple games to average teams at home

That was much worse than an average team.

Some great times n between , when Fred with great difficulty revived this program, brought Hilton back and handed it to this incompetent coach who has destroyed everything he built.

Fred didn't "hand" anything to anyone. He quit and left. He's at f'in NE! Regardless of Prohm, f Fred!

It did take it into consideration. It moved from 28.5 to 25.5 when Tyrese was ruled out.

Wait, the 25.5 line was after news of Tyrese broke? That's insanely high. Would any ISU fan have picked ISU to cover that?

I would have expected a 15ish point win that looked a little disjointed at times due to TH's absence, but seeing it as a good way for other players to get time together, on the floor, work on spacing, blah blah.

I know it was a close loss, but ISU kinda got their ass kicked there in the 2nd half.

I know ISU fans are loathe to boo the home team, but Hilton is being disrespected by this team and Jamie Pollard needs to know that losing to teams like Florida A&M at home is completely unacceptable.

Pollard, I'm certain, is acutely aware that tonight's result is unacceptable. But by all means, email him just to make sure he knows.

(edit: Because I know some people are going to take this seriously, that was sarcasm. Absolutely do not email Jamie Pollard.)

Any chance Oregon is going to make another hire and bail us out of this mess again?

I had no remaining illusions that we were a tournament team but sweet Jesus, this is awful.
I was hoping Bama would have done that last spring. I think we are going to have to pay this buyout ourselves.

I thought the same thing as you, probably a 10-15 point with a performance that alternates between looking decent and looking disjointed. We mostly had that in the first half. That second half was simply shocking, and I don't use that word casually.

We are going to miss this tournament and the next one and prohm will get fired. The writing is on the wall. The only question at this point is do we acknowledge that and just get started on the next era after this year.
Prohm should give 3/4 of his check to Haliburton else this will likely be the outcome.

That 2nd half wasn't a shock to me. I think these types of losses have really taken its toll, no matter what season it was in.
