What just happened?
A Prohm developed and Coached team.
What just happened?
Yes, it was an unforgivable upset, but that point spread didn't take into consideration that Iowa State would be without it's best player who's a 1st round draft pick.
More humiliating that losing to Hampton in the 1st round of the tourney as a 2 seed?
I think its possible.
I'd settle for Wayne Morgan...Let’s say Jamie fires Prohm, do you think that Rhoads will come back to coach?
Just shows you how important Haliburton is to this team. Play without him and we get games like this. Also losing the NBA caliber players (THT, Wiggiginton, Shayok, and Weiler-Babb sure hurt this team when they left.
The worst part is , Prohm does not know how to fix this, he is way over his head, at this point he is just cashing in his checks.
Prohm has lost multiple games to average teams at home
Some great times n between , when Fred with great difficulty revived this program, brought Hilton back and handed it to this incompetent coach who has destroyed everything he built.
It did take it into consideration. It moved from 28.5 to 25.5 when Tyrese was ruled out.

I've secured a bottle of bourbon and a t-shirt that hangs down past my balls for NYE. But until then I'll make sure to be more presentable at the sacred temple (Hilton).
Go Cyclones!
Wait, the 25.5 line was after news of Tyrese broke? That's insanely high. Would any ISU fan have picked ISU to cover that?
I know ISU fans are loathe to boo the home team, but Hilton is being disrespected by this team and Jamie Pollard needs to know that losing to teams like Florida A&M at home is completely unacceptable.
I was hoping Bama would have done that last spring. I think we are going to have to pay this buyout ourselves.Any chance Oregon is going to make another hire and bail us out of this mess again?
I had no remaining illusions that we were a tournament team but sweet Jesus, this is awful.
I would have expected a 15ish point win that looked a little disjointed at times due to TH's absence, but seeing it as a good way for other players to get time together, on the floor, work on spacing, blah blah.
I know it was a close loss, but ISU kinda got their ass kicked there in the 2nd half.
Prohm should give 3/4 of his check to Haliburton else this will likely be the outcome. We are going to miss this tournament and the next one and prohm will get fired. The writing is on the wall. The only question at this point is do we acknowledge that and just get started on the next era after this year.
I thought the same thing as you, probably a 10-15 point with a performance that alternates between looking decent and looking disjointed. We mostly had that in the first half. That second half was simply shocking, and I don't use that word casually.
