Yeah, for now, wait until they go 3-15 in the Big 12 while Iowa makes the tourney with everyone coming back next year.

My prediction, Prohm gets fired next year, Foster plays about 10 minutes a game, then transfers to Iowa after the 2021 season, sits out a year then starts 3 years at Iowa.
Foster's career here is doomed to end up like Lazards if he sticks around 4 years, lots of beatdowns, a coaching change, and if hes not good enough to declare early his senior year would be the soonest the program is competitive again.
Wow, these are something.

Said this in another thread but are our guys in the NBA really there because of development from CSP? Seems like CSP is good at recruiting somewhat ready made NBA talent though.

I think Steve Prohm is good at recruiting mostly diamonds in the rough, that don't always work out, and coaching a very narrow style when he has the right players. Without the right players, his system struggles and he has limited capacity to coach up a mediocre player.

You mean Foster could end up being a significant role player on a championship contending pro team?

Look at it logically, you honestly think a guy that grew up an Iowa fan is going to stick around very long if things keep going south like this? There is no way he sticks around if there is a coaching change next year, he'll either pull a LW and go pro even though he shouldnt or if he is a few years away from the NBA he'll transfer to Iowa like Uthoff did.

Either way, Id be very surprised if he is at Iowa State more than 1 year.

I don't think you should be bringing up the logic word.

Underwood also.

Prohm is the best of that list (not a big TJ fan) but....yikes on those candidates.

curious why you’re not a fan of TJ. He did well at SDSU and has a proven track record of recruiting to ISU.

Bummer, but better this happened now than to wait til the Spring. I wish the kid well, and certainly hope the family situation works out well.

There are plenty of threads to bash Prohm. Can this one just be about Blackwell?

I know you won't, at that point you'll just be arguing with Iowa fans that he was overrated and we didnt need him anyways.
It's funny how much you admit to lurking without posting because you got butthurt years ago and won't anymore. LOL.
