That’s what separates the powers in wbb.. there just aren’t as many really skilled bigs available. We have to take chances on a few and it’s rarely worked out in recent years
Our team needs to play against meaner practice squads. Hit them, punch them, swipe at them, etc. That's what they face in the big 12 and they are never ready for it. Need some more mean punchy gals on the team.

Yeah, no. You can have all of those p... tornados. Not spelling it out because I don’t want that word in this thread.
The girls put up quite a desperate effort in the latter part of the 4th. Play like that the whole game and....................................
How many times do we lose control of the ball and fall on top of it? Then just lay there waiting for the other team to tie us up. It seems like 6 or 7 times a game. Does that happen to everyone else or is it a bad habit we have? We need to put these gals in a slapping line and make them handle the ball through it. If they were stronger with the ball, they would be pretty darn good.
Tough loss but I found it somewhat encouraging overall. Watched Texas play a couple games this season and when they are clicking they are good. They get periods in games where they play dumb but did that not so much tonight.
Some good stuff: (1) Scott back to doing the Scott things that got her preseason 1st team recognition (2) Camber maybe having found her shot after it being gone for over a season, going to need her scoring (3) assists and some early scoring from Maggie.
We have two first team Big 12 level players on this team, and with Scott healthy again there's no reason to not have a good run in a weak Big 12. Bring it on.

Well I'm not sure why the heck we were standing around on inbound plays in the1st half but holy cow those were some rough in bounds plays. Really liked the 1st 7 minutes of the game and appreciated the effort at the end when they finally started driving the lane as a team instead of standing around. I was surprised how close the foul your way back into the game came close to working, really disapponted when they didn't call the travel on the Tx gal before Jade ran her down for her 4th foul, it wasn't the difference in the game but it was an egregious no call. Disappointing loss but I didn't see anything from Tx to make me be scared of them when we rematch in Austin.
Nieces and nephews all made it except for one's husband he was working. Quick supper at pizza ranch and the game a good evening was had by all.
