the McDermott era came to an end in unexpected fashion. Maybe we can get lucky again. He had two worse years in conference than this. Not sure what to think of an incoming top 25 recruiting class. It should be something to look forward to but it is hard to imagine getting younger and better at the same time. With all the pros Prohm has had on the team it feels like a lot of underperforming. My number one want in a coach is a good communicator. That is number one for recruiting, managing the press, attracting assistants, coaching and game management. Prohm is usually painful to listen to.

I'd like to see if the recruiting class not being in the top half of the conference really matters in a year.

No he’s been posting here in the last month getting into fights as recent as the last couple days.

Hmm...didn't see that.

I can say that Hoiberg was better at least in setting up an identity for his program and such but his worshipping of CFH was...weird.

Might want to look into that more.. lately he’s been attacking people for saying anything remotely positive about Fred.

Are we talking about the same poster?

That sounds like Cat.

I'm talking about Jereisb, the poster that said that ISU would have gone to a Final Four now if Fred were still the coach and called Ohio State one of the worst teams to ever be in the NCAA tournament, even though there was nothing to support either point.

He got a timeout back in January for insulting people who he disagreed with, rather than providing counter arguments. He returned a few weeks later and didn’t learn his lesson.
Hummm...we have a couple posters here who run their gunner mouths and don't get banned.

I totally agree on your point regarding communication. The guy sounds like farmer Fran from the water boy.

That's an interesting point and probably the reason I (unconsciously) stopped listening to post-pressers.

And double interesting because I didn't even realize that's why I don't watch/listen to post-pressers, or really any interviews.

Granted I don't take much from them even in football but in football I don't feel like communication is an issue...basketball has felt that way for a while now.
