Hey fellas -
I've been waiting to put anything out as there is just a lot of fluid stuff happening. I'll list some stuff that I think is relevant here and can try to take any follow-up questions too. Blum and I are recording a pod tonight that I will use some time on hoops recruiting for.
--- Justin Turner, Bowling Green - I think will be tough to get. I've heard he's a Missouri lean. BUT, there does seem to be a little bit of momentum for Iowa State over the last 24 hours. I'm not holding my breath here but feel better about Iowa State chances today than I did earlier in the week. Hearing he will decide Sunday or Monday.
--- Dave DeJulius, Michigan - I think Iowa State is in a good spot. Iowa State was one of the first to reach out to him and I believe will be in his final two ... Not positive who else will be there in the end. I'd guess Marquette...maybe Cincinnati. I'm told will decide early next week.
--- AJ Walker, Air Force - Here's a guy who many aren't talking about who I think ISU has a real chance at too. A 40 percent 3-point shooter. Averaged 11 per game last year. I watched him in Vegas vs. SDSU and was very impressed. Don't think he'd come in and be an "it" guy but he'd definitely push to start, and ISU needs guards badly.
--- OVERALL - I know Iowa State has other guys on the radar that aren't public yet. Hand on my grandmother's grave, I do know have names to give even if I could. I'm guessing more will surface next week. I'll be all over it for you guys. Right now, Turner/DeJulius would be a hell of a pair. I'm guessing it'll be just one but stay tuned. It should be an eventful 72 hours or so.
