If we have no fans, but have games, how much of a hit will that be? If we have 6 games at 55k with 50 bucks a ticket, that is 16.5MM, but got to figure there is some expenses that you will cut. Maybe 15MM in loss? Maybe the Big XII can sell off some extra games and pick up tier one and two rates for extra games? So if we can pop another 100MM in football contracts for the conference (its definitely possible) that puts us close with salary cuts and other things.
I got used to it being a few seconds apart. But it's a lot easier now that you can often pause tvs so you can wait for the radio to catch up.Warning Warning - potential thread derailment approaching

If you have broadband, and the radio is coming before the tv, you can also try finding the radio broadcast on the internet, then you can pause the radio to be in sync with the tv. There is apparently an app that will do it for you, but I haven't tried it.

Just called Cyclone Club. The donation can be deferred the same as the football tickets. However, it would depend if you still are in for basketball. It is anticipated that basketball will be given the same option football now has (basketball may delay it's season start anyway), but they are being highly flexible and you can opt out of basketball now if you have safety concerns. Friday's deadline is not a deadline, it's simply a request to help with planning. So you can be out at any point in time for football. A Monday update announcement is expected, @cyclone4L may be on to something.
I expect the season is cancelled on Sept 1.
Whats the video delay like vs the radio? I feel like that would be annoying if you hear the play before you see it.
JP had said that we would know on Sept 1 or by Sept 1. (I can't remember exactly) which of the three options they were going with.

That used to bother me, but that one announcer who couldn’t wait to get out of Ames (was it Tuberville? It was some washed up coach) was the end of TV audio for me. I prefer when Walters is ahead of the video, then if it is gonna be bad, I can just go get another beer from the fridge.
None of that information is in the article. Due to HIPPA it will be hard to get that information, especially in a timely fashion to help in decision making.
It's never consistent. I've had times where the tv was faster than the radio but just a little bit or radio was just a little faster than the tv. Those aren't bad because it either fees like John is a little slow on the uptake or it let's you do something else and then look up and see the play.
I've also had times when tv was significantly slower than the radio (especially since I got youtubetv). Then I either have to turn off the radio or try to get them to sync up.
But also, I grew up listening to Pete and then John while watching the game on tv, so I'm used to them not being exactly linked up and have a lot more of a tolerance for it

Disagree. They will likely play the games. TV Revenue plus the limited number of game inventory will give more incentive. Fans will be eliminated completely before they cancel the games. They will at least get some games in.
I’m pretty sure they’re still allowing and holding on campus events such as ISU After Dark. I’m guessing their main concern is unsanctioned events, like massive house house parties with a hundred people where any protocol is non existent, opposed to a group of 8 friends having a night of drinking games.
I’m not sure what the athletic department’s plan for the student section would be, but I’m sure it would be enough to satisfy the university to allow it.
Our 30+year season ticket holder led group of 4 is opting out until next year 
It depends on your sources for each, and how many "hops" each has.
Standard radio will be ahead of any video.
If the radio station has their FCC delay activated, you'll probably be close to matching up with OTA/cable. Satellite video may be a little further behind.
Listening via app or online stream will put you behind OTA/cable/satellite, but could get you in line if you're streaming the video also.
As far as video is concerned, that delay can vary widely by network in addition to your viewing method. There's the FCC delay, number of satellites involved, whether the production is remote or on-site, etc.
Example: For some basketball games on ESPN networks, the delay can be up to 15-18 seconds once all of the above is factored in. Nothing like seeing live stats update with a basket before the ball is even across half-court on the screen.
