Football seems safer than basketball, but I haven’t even been in a public restroom since February. That’s a win even without a pandemic.

Both our students are very careful as they are around a child with underlying conditions. They might just go with our tickets to avoid a crazy student crowd, but young people seem more considerate to me than the middle aged folks so not sure our seats are that much safer. Middle aged woman in Walmart by pharmacy kept lowering her mask to cough.

My husband is an essential worker serving a vulnerable population and I have asthma and we are old. We can watch on TV with John Walters call on radio.

What the heck? She has a hard time grasping the concept.

Just opted out for the season. First time in 16 years I won't make it to any games. :(

We took my son to a few games last season as a baby. He's almost 2 now and I was really looking forward to games with him this year.

Fingers crossed the world is back to normal in 2021.

Fun taking kids to games. Always hope they get the same enjoyment we got when we got to go as kids.

As we await Jamie's decision regarding football attendance between the "no fans", "25% capacity", or "50% capacity" scenarios, for those of you among the 30,000 that purchased season tickets, have any of you already decided to opt out for the season? Or seriously considering opting out if fans are allowed? Or still "wait and see"?
CLEMSON, S.C. —
Clemson fans will be in the stands cheering on their Tigers this fall season.

Clemson Athletics received approval from the South Carolina Department of Commerce on Thursday to welcome spectators at fall sport home facilities........

As part of the plan, Clemson’s Memorial Stadium capacity will be reduced to approximately 19,000 fans, based on 6 feet of social distance among outdoor seating pods. Death Valley’s regular capacity is 81,500.

Fans will be seated primarily in pods of two and four affiliated guests throughout the stadium. Parking areas will open three hours prior to announced kickoff times and fans are asked to refrain from tailgating during the 2020 season. Tents and trailers are prohibited.

I believe this may be the most likely scenario if fans are allowed at JTS. I'd support this wholeheartedly as a fan who plans to attend games if there are game that allow fans to attend.

Wow. They actually took out tons of seats!

Aren't those just seatbacks? It looks to me like they just have bench seats like JTS does.

This is a great idea, but they aren't spaced out enough at all IMO. That's way too many people.

Looks like mostly every 3rd row front-to-back, with horizontal/angled distance of 1-2 rows up/down + 2 seats L/R between groups.

Remember that is a huge stadium, in a picture it just looks small, I assumed that this would be a tactic that schools used to help people stay apart.

Here's just an example of what the seatback chairs look like in JTS.....

It would be a REALLY smart idea to have these seatbacks in groups of 4 and 2 all over the stadium spaced at least 6 ft apart from one another in all directions. What a perfect way to designate what seats you are supposed to be in. And there would be an incentive to stay in those seats too.... WAY more comfortable!

I'm guessing you could maybe put 10-15k in there that way?

I pulled the plug and opted out. Just not worth it. Maybe next year, but I’m not confident things are much more normal.

Put a giant Snow fence around the parking lots With tents every 20 feet. Your group enters a tent with their tickets plus $30 each which gets each person 2 beers and a 15 minute Covid test. If your group passes you are in and if not you go home and isolate. Inside the fence area ISU sells beer, food, live music with Game Day every week! Pack the Jack 100%!!!

Abbott Lab CEO was on CNBC this afternoon. They can hit monthly production of 50 million by October and he stated right now US Government has the first amounts of production spoken for. They are working on trying to increase capacity well beyond that. Has been getting many many inquiries about the tests.
