It's way past time to create one that isn't 98% fanfic.
Can we keep the concepts out of this one and limit it to game posts? I’m fine if we have another concepts thread just it got annoying
I'm a little slow. I just now noticed that probably the main change this year from last, is they've removed player nameplate on back and replaced with CYCLONES.
I haven't wanted to watch any replays of game 1 thru CyclonesTV, and didn't watch it live.

I wonder how it would look if the Jack Trice patch was the original color on the black uniforms instead of just being white?

That will be quite a contrast with OU's classic, traditional crimson pot over all-whites. Everyone will know the Sooners are playing.
And wonder who the hell is wearing black when they flip through the channels.
I understand I am old but I don't like the all black unis. I much prefer the greys we had during Campbell's first year. However, a red Jack Trice patch on the black unis would look sweet.
Do other TV's not have the box score showing the teams on the bottom of the screen? or is that just my TV...
When you flip through the channels, don’t you glance at the uniforms to see who’s playing, before you decide if you care enough to wait a moment and take the time to look at the box score?
The box score is always the second step.
It’s the same with regular TV shows. If I don’t recognize something I’m interested in, I don’t bother looking at the ID to see what the heck I’m looking at. I just move on.
I’ve said that I’d be good with the blacks, if only there was a trace of Cardinal, at least an accent, somewhere on it.
The Trice patch would be sufficient.
All black, the monochrome, is boring.

The all blacks are very cool looking for sure, but I'm with those that would like our school colors somewhere on the uniform.
Would the black lid with the cardinal and gold I-State logo look good with the all blacks? We wear that lid with the red uniforms once in a while.
