Simmons is my biggest surprise this year, got a really good player there
First half seemed a little rough, but I give credit for what appears to be 2nd half adjustments.
Yes, I read just a few days ago. I think it was 3 years after High School. I may have made the HS part up but I remember 3 years.

There seemed to be a lot more of taking what's there just to move the chains tonight, but also that's quite possibly on Purdy trying to do too much.
I still want Kene in there. Get him the ball and let him make a play.

Agree completely. As someone else mentioned earlier tonight.... we need to get Hall and Kene out there in space on some swing passes in the flat where they can make one move on a guy and possibly go the distance.
He took some lumps today, as did Ramos, but they had a pretty good 2nd half. OU still has great athletes and the OL held its own. Another good game for Foster. Both Tackles had a good amount of plays one on one with the DEs and largely held their own. When we can get these guys going downhill with Breece they are good. Early in the year I was calling for Foster to move to G and see if he can be a mauler in the run game. Turns out he can from the T spot and has been solid in pass protection too.
How about 3/3 for Assalley tonight. Good work out of him.
Was hoping to see a screen in the first half when OU was living in the backfield. Seems like Kene could be dangerous in that role if we can game plan some of those in the coming weeks.
The scary thing about this team is that they can get better! Great team win! Many opportunities in front of them!

While we're handing out accolades, we should give a nod to the special teams. Kickoff coverage was good (field position after the post-TD penalty isn't on the ST's). Assalley perfect for the day. And of course, Kene's huge kickoff return.

Stream of consciousness .. Chase Allen huge catch, Bailey on fire at end of 1st half, Breece out running the entire D on the right sweep, Purdy with a great run for TD and quick throw for 6, Ngwangwu with a massive momentum shift, defense Just swarming in 2nd half.
