I remember thinking Florida A&M was horrible last year.
Don't Prohm this.

Fixed it for youI find it hard to believe these players want to play18 conference games. They did not look engaged.
Amazing how there's still people on this site, like @isufbcurt and @Macloney , who will defend Prohm as if he's a blood relative, even after a performance like that..
I haven't even posted tonight. Tonight was embarrassing. I defend Prohm because he's the coach and me blasting him isn't going to change that.
But yes tonight was a **** show. The one thing I am sick of Prohm doing (or not doing) is not holding guys accountable. The game plan was to get the ball inside to Solo and then play inside out. Well we were just chucking 3's and not even getting the ball inside. Prohm needs to pull the guys from the game who aren't following the game plan and put in someone who will.
Secondly, Rasir's comments about wanting to win when they were down 14 as noted in Stans article. If it takes being down 24 for you to want to win you shouldn't be playing. Unfortunately no one on this team has shown an "attitude" they are all appear to be soft. No one wants to get physical, I get more physical playing with my dogs than these guys do playing basketball.
I think you hit the nail on the head. Prohm wants to be the players friend. And that only work when the players have the talent and drive to hold themselves to a high standard. He is far to good cop to get the most out of a young team.I haven't even posted tonight. Tonight was embarrassing. I will say everyone who is gushing over Foster and Hunter who also want Prohm fired don't realize that firing Prohm Foster transfers and Hunter isn't coming here.
Seems like he's got a quick pull for some guys, and a longer one for others and who knows what the reasons are, but it tends to look like the guy who gets a quick pull should get more time to figure things out, and the guy who gets a longer leash can't figure it out.
And in the end it tends to look disjointed.
Also, motivation is definitely an internal thing, but I'd bet you've seen or had coaches that directly impacted that more than others. Anecdotal, but I know I've seen it and it really does make a difference.

Exactly. The best coaches all get on guys for doing crap like that. K, Self, Calipari. etc.Agree. Trust me I don't want a coach who acts like a lunatic, but he needs to rip some ass when they just get in their 3 chucking phase and are lazy on defense.
Agree. But my theory has always been if you are a D1 Athlete and can't get yourself motivated you shouldn't be playing D1

Is it a forgone conclusion that Foster stays and Hunter stands by his commitment if we go 3-15 in the Big 12. You seem to insinuate that both Foster and Hunter stay regardless of the outcome of this year. I'm not sure that is a safe assumption to make. I would love to have Hunter but at the end of the day whether we have Hunter, or not, if we keep CSP what evidence can we point to that he will get us back to where the program was six years ago.

Do you think he’s a good coach?I haven't even posted tonight. Tonight was embarrassing. I defend Prohm because he's the coach and me blasting him isn't going to change that.
