But, hey, this all is a turning point for the program. We need to keep playing like a top 10 team with the best in the league.

This post on the Hawkeyereport.com site didn't age well. This was from late October, but most of the Hawk loyalists there even laughed at him.

Oh, exactly....hoping they are dialed in,believe they are as good as they are, and play within themselves (and hope Heacock has drawn up some of his wonderfulness, lol). Who knows, but it seems like the coaches have put Brock in situations that are favorable (i can't remember the last deep/huck/chuck ball he's thrown) for good throws/high percentage.
But yes, overall, if the team honestly plays above average as a whole, doesn't make any costly mistakes, and maybe gets a mistake from OU, really feeling good about it.
ISU wins round 1! While we are preparing for a TEAM championship. OU players are worried and mad about Individual awards. Perkins played 4 games and expects to be first team. He says he is pissed off, but guess what? Who cares and we can get pissed off too

And didn't miss games because of an injury. He missed games because of a drug suspension.
Hope I’m not off-topic here, but given CMC’s track record with running backs (Kareem Hunt at Toledo and Montgomery and Breece here)...Is it reasonable to think we could sign a 5 star running back in the near future? Who wouldn’t want to come up and be the next Breece Hall? So exciting!
Maybe not a 5 star in the near future, (since they're so hard to lure away from the Clemson, Bama, OSU, etc. types) but I fully expect this staff to keep recruiting and landing high 3 star and 4 star Running Backs like Breece and Jirehl. Shouldn't be hard to recruit to as you mentioned.
