Setting up a gamewatch at Maverick's in Arlington, Texas. I'll post a thread later with details. Specials on Busch Light buckets!
Is this a good idea? Not because of Covid, but getting a bunch of ISU fans together to watch this basketball team doesn't sound like a lot of fun. Maybe you can pass the hat for buyout money at halftime.
Hence the Busch Light buckets?!!

Good news is no ISU cheerleaders or fans are making this trip so not real danger of them being eaten by Huggins The Hutt.

Although I do expect his gravitational pull to adversely impact our already abysmal shooting. Loose balls might actually end up orbiting around him. His players have practiced with it and are used to it.

I'll save you the time of googling this....

the maximum you can bet on a game at william Hill is $500k.

any decent high roller could've covered the prohm buyout by Feb 1st.

Nah, we have no fans at least through December.

Did you have limited seating for FB then? Sorry for the silly question but didn't happen to catch any of your home games this yr. By the way I'm afraid you are going to kill us in BB this yr. We have no plan at all on either offense or defense so far this yr.

We had 25% capacity in football. I don't believe that changed at the end of the year, but I could be mistaken. (I'm a way bigger fan of hoops than football.)

I'm not much for predicting games, but I will say if we want to compete for our first Big 12 title, we sure can't drop our first conference home game.

Any word on Tre Jackson?
TRE JACKSON UPDATE
Prohm said starting guard Tre Jackson will likely remain out for at least the remainder of the calendar year. The sophomore guard injured his left knee in practice late last month and Prohm said he just started jogging Wednesday.

“We miss him,” Prohm said, “If you know anything about him, character, toughness, some leadership — he brings a lot of intangibles to our team. He guards the opponent’s best player. He’s gotten bigger and stronger from last year and he’s a guy that can really spread the defense. I think he’s been a great cheerleader for us right now, but we need to get him back.”

I'd have serious concerns as a West Virginia fan if you lost to this Iowa State team. This one will probably get ugly.

If you drop this one, titles aren't an issue.
Spread comes down to whether our starters can outscore the end of you bench.

Anyone think Huggy will take it easy on us, and will it make any difference if he does?

Thumbs down about Jackson being out, not the accuracy of the info.

I mean, we are due for an unsolicited "Steve Prohm is a great coach and you guys should keep him around forever" from an opposing coach. Haven't had one of those yet this year.

Shoot.... thanks for the update. Excited to see how he is progressing. Prohm hasn’t done much right lately but at least he has a good track record of working with PGs.
