Can someone explain why you don't try 3 heaves downtown's when behind at half every time? I only have watched football, never played it. So I don't understand the downside. Anyone know the theory? Isn't it just as hard to return an interception 60 yards as it is to make a big catch to get you in FG range?
1. We suck at FGs 2. If it's an int with time left OU could add on to their lead. 3. Momentum shifts 4. We get the ball to start the 2md half, don't make it worse before you get there.

Because more things can go wrong than right. A int or fumble could be 6 points for the other team

Time management was terrible on the touchdown drive. We needed to kill the clock.

They left a minute on the clock. If we don’t completely breakdown on special teams or if they actually throw a flag on one of the 15 holds that took place on the kick it’s a totally different situation
