'04 Mizzou, '05 KU, Blarge, in that order. Those were rage. This one was disappointment. We have a shot at our best Bowl win ever still!

Its weird. I didnt take the loss that hard.

I kind of accepted it when we were solidly down and was just glad we made it close at the end, though of course i wish we would have won.

I also think it hurts less when all signs are we should be plenty good in the future. Hopefully we can make it back next year.
This....I felt the same way. The way they fought back and not only made a game of it but had a good chance to win it. The pride I had for them superceded my disappointment we didn't win. And in 2 weeks we'll have a bowl game somewhere.

This loss hurts a ton...Really feel for the kids..Knowing they didnt play their best game. Man i feel for those kids.

Only redeeming part is if we can land in NY6 and win. That would be a huge accomplishment.

We lost the turnover battle and the rushing number. Almost impossible to win under those circumstances. It was amazing that we had a chance at the end. It was a gut punch to be sure, but I feel like next year when we are back there the job will be finished. So, less of a "rip your heart out" loss and more of a "to be continued" type of thing.

I'm not taking this loss that hard. The future is bright and we had one hell of a comeback. I'd say the most recent loss that really stuck with me was the NCAA tourney game vs. Purdue. Watching Burton go into beast mode, but ISU still lose with Monte, Matt and Naz (and Deonte) all graduating was tough to swallow.

This one doesn't feel that bad to me because I don't feel like this is a fleeting "once in a lifetime" moment anymore. I feel like the program has been built solidly enough that we should expect to be in the championship game again next year. Some if those other games - Nebraska 2pt conversion, many KSU games, both Big 12 North clinching losses - those hurt more because it felt like we had really missed an exclusive chance to do something. This doesn't feel like some fleeting moment we'll never see again. At least not as long as Campbell is here.

The Reggie Smith "there is no foul" game at Kansas State in 2017. I was apoplectic after that one.

This one sucks, but I'm trying to focus on the big picture...

I guess, the ISU vs Virgina game in the Sweet 16 - 2016.

That game started so bad. Uphill climb the whole way. Nader just played terrible, worst game he had in an ISU uniform.

Damn it. Niang played his ass off and it wasn’t enough.

Maybe it’s because I feel like we will be back next year and years following, but I’m not feeling too bad right now. Still got the Fiesta bowl to look forward to.

I think the one that really sticks in my head is the 18 Texas game. Might just be since I was there for that one but it was just painful and I was mad about that. This one doesn’t really have that same feel. To echo what others have said, this doesn’t really feel like the end of an era or a missed opportunity that will set us back. Yeah it sucked losing and especially losing that way but man it seems like there’s a lot to look forward to.

MSU 2000 - still angry

Yeah, that's a good one. Any one of these losses where you're on the precipice of something really big and come up short. Missouri in 2004 was a pretty sickening feeling. The Sweet 16 losses in basketball, kind of like today knowing you had a chance but you just played so poorly at times.
