I think the turning point was when Purdy scrambled and the Oregon player was called and subsequently ejected from the game.

Long-developing pass plays against maybe the most talented D-lineman in the country are a recipe for disaster.

That was also the fastest team we’ve seen all year. Oregon will be dangerous when they grow up.

Brock isn't the strongest armed QB so it's to his strengths to run the crossing routes and hit the intermediate stuff on the run for extra yards after catch.

I hear you guys on the DL being good. But we ran 30+ plays straight at that DL. It was crazing me as a pass happy throw it up kinda mind !

Kudos to their D for adjustments in 2nd half. It seems we decided pre game that throwing downfield was A no go. And we could have put 40 points up in first half if we adjusted that position.

Didn't need to pass, just feed Breece and Kene. There was a couple series where we tried to get cute and got away from what was working.
Yep....we got away from it and got out of rhythm. Our best defence was our offense today, burning the clock and moving the chains.

And to add to this, it seemed like we were doing a lot of straight drop backs instead of rolling Brock out. That seemed to cause him a bit of confusion and is when Oregon got the most pressure. Brock seems best to me on the move.

We DO seem to be missing the vertical threat though. Either young speedsters develop, Tarique gets his mojo / health back and/or we get someone on the transfer market.

Will we have available scholarships for transfers? With guys like Allen coming back, I'm not sure what the dynamic will be. Loving-Black is officially in the transfer portal, so that's one scholly to use.

For sure. I think we could see Daniel Jackson at the M and get Milton back on the outside. Milton and Hutchinson could be a nice tandem.
