The only bad thing about Campbell having the football program looking so good is it makes it easier for Pollard to justify, at least financially, not firing Prohm. Not many folks are going to cancel Cyclone Club donations with the most promising ISU football team in anyone's lifetime. Thus he's "only" losing out on lost basketball ticket sales rather than the combination of both tickets and donations.

I do have a question for the staunch Prohm defenders, how can you defend this? He doesn't have Fred's bare cupboard to blame this time. These are all his recruits. This is a crapshow.

I like Steve as a person, I assume the players play as well as they can, but the product on the court is absolute garbage and at this point you have no one to blame but the coach. If the players arent good enough thats on Prohm, if the players are good enough and this is what he is getting out of them, thats on Prohm. I don't know who you get to replace them (not TJ sorry Otz-lovers) but that at least needs to be seriously discussed. If he isnt gone this year, he should be told if he doesn't make the tournament next year, barring extremely extenuating circumstances, he's gone.

Prohm is done. it’s cheaper to fire him than keep him at this point. ISU will lose more than the cost of the buyout from a lack of ticket sales if Pollard doesn’t fire him.

I pray you are right. JP is a smart guy. He has to know this. He's got to pull the trigger.

I am surprised ESPN will televise our games. It is so hard to watch and is making me very sad.

I really don’t think there are any more Prohm supporters left.

Remember when we used to jokingly make fun of Ejim's hands. Now he'd be this teams Jerry Rice.

To be fair, early on in his career I wouldn't call it a joke. He contributed to a good number of Diante Garrett turnovers due to being unable to corral passes. Got much better as time went on though.
