That was the end of the season. 1 game left. There’s a month left. No one is going to take the job in Feb.

to be fair, no one has done the job all season

CMC contract is bein negotiated of now, the program is 25 million in debt. We cannot afford a buyout. Give him another year and if he does not make the dance next year, fire him.

Oddly this might be the best thing for the entire athletic department in the long run....

It must be nice to be simplistic enough to look at where this basketball team is at right now, and blame the coach. Gosh, if only all of life were that simple and straightforward.

He's making millions of dollars. That makes him responsible for everything that happens under the basketball program.

He took a program that was consistently going to the NCAA tournament and playing at a high level and turned it into a program that has finished in 9th or 10th in 3 of the last 4 years.

He should have been out last year when it was apparent that he'd mismanaged things enough that this year was inevitable. He certainly deserves to be fired now.

No coach is going to agree with firing anyone in the middle of the season.

Nothing is gained by firing him now. You make the kids playing for him feel bad. You don’t do anything to help get a new coach. It makes no sense.

They should be more woried about the people writing checks feeling bad then a lame duck coach and a few players that are probably going to leave anyway.

Fundraising starts the second he is gone.
