Dude just spells bust. He could be a decent role player off the bench, but I agree it’s hard to see him be the face of a franchise. A lot like THT in that they could both have long careers with great highlight reels, but likely avg about 5-10 pts/game.
He's played like this every time I've watched OSU. Granted, I haven't watched a lot of their games. But he doesn't look like the #1 player to me. Not even close.
This tournament is starting to suck, 2 sweet sixteen games Arkansas v Oral Roberts and Loyola vs Oregon St
Only one 16 seed has ever won a game, Maryland Baltimore defeated Virginia in 2018. I think we now have around 17, 15 seeds beating 2 seeds.

It’s only 9 15 seeds that have won their first games. 2, I think, have won the second game. Oral Roberts and Florida gulf coast.
First round was excellent. Yesterday was average, today was average with Loyola and Oral being the only real excitement of the 2nd round.
4 times have there been #1 through #15 in the second round. It is 9 times that #15 has beaten a #2.
Agreed. I love those kind of matchups. This elitist attitude from some people is ridiculous.
And he always looks like he doesn’t care if they win or not?
I get that he doesn’t want to do anything stupid to risk getting hurt when you’re the consensus #1 pick, but you have to at least show a little competitiveness and desire to win.
Now he’ll probably put up 20 in the 2nd half and hit the game winner or something to prove me wrong. I’ve just not been overly impressed with him whenever I’ve watched him this year. No motor.
As many of you may know, this Oregon State-Oklahoma State game is a rematch of the 1949 National Semifinals (when Oklahoma State was called Oklahoma A&M). Oklahoma A&M won 55-30, but lost to Kentucky in the National Championship Game.
If you only consider upsets exciting. Both the Alabama and Houston games were very exciting until the end.
I am enjoying the randomness of this Tournament and am looking forward to the Alabama vs. Syracuse National Championship Game! Also, cannot wait to make a basketball trip to Indiana to go to all of these arenas. Had no idea about the Indiana Farmers Coliseum where UIPUI plays their home games. That place looks really cool! Built in 1939 as part of the W.P.A.
This is the 6th time that Oklahoma State has played a Pac 10/12 team in the tournament since the field expanded to 64+ teams. They have yet to beat a team from the Pac 12.
A #4 seed Oklahoma State team has faced a #12 seed one time before. They lost to #12 Tulsa 82-80 in 1994.
