Is Alex Thompson not available?
Hey Bryan Peterson has won 2 JUCO national championships as a head coach, he'd be a great assistant to bring in.

Would seem to be a lateral move, as Charlie Henry was head coach of the Bulls G-League team and now he's an assistant with Nate Oats at Alabama.Rumors around Cedar Rapids is that Grant Gibbs (Linn-Mar alum) is in line for a position on TJ's staff. Interesting if so and not saying this is true, just heard it a couple of different times in the area.

Would be a way to break into the college ranks if that's his goal, though.Would seem to be a lateral move, as Charlie Henry was head coach of the Bulls G-League team and now he's an assistant with Nate Oats at Alabama.

eh, press releases are always full of fluff.I'm all for keeping Robinson from a recruiting perspective, but to say he's "one of the best on-court and developmental coaches" seems like a reach. Where was that the last couple years?
I hope he is successful because I want to see ISU succeed again too but...

He did a pretty good job with Young's post game. And I know he was credited with helping develop Brackins and Justin Hamilton when they were here. Even if you are a good developmental coach, you still have to have players willing to put in the work and also have good enough talent that it makes a difference in the Big 12.I'm all for keeping Robinson from a recruiting perspective, but to say he's "one of the best on-court and developmental coaches" seems like a reach.
