Justin Hamilton said he left because of Robinson.
Someone (you?) posted the same thing the other day, and that was the first I’d heard of it. They both left at about the same time. Is this just from message board rumblings circa 2010, or?

Really outstanding local assistant may be coming to TJ's staff. Kyle Green who by all accounts is both great recruiter and coaches big men at UNI. I know people will wonder if A.J. will follow him, but I think this would be an great addition to our staff regardless of AJ. Great basketball mind who would fit in well in Ames. Time will tell if this is TJ's choice, but I will be excited if he is one of the new coaches.

"may be coming" ? Geez, I hope you know what you are doing and that this is true now because you broadcasting it here will give it a life of it's own and I hate for fans to be teased and/or disappointed if it doesn't happen. Having said that, thanks for sharing the info and I'm sure you have a reason for posting it. I would like this hire. Always impressed with UNI's big man development.
You can't be racist towards white people. It doesn't exist in the form where it's directed towards white people. This is a bad take because it's impossible.....Hamilton accused him of being racist toward white players.

Looks to have connections to Minnesota, which is huge. The MSP area has been absolutely loaded with talent lately, and if we could make some inroads there it would benefit us.
Plus the new guy at Minnesota was a pretty low profile hire (though he might turn out to be good) and they already lost their best players. Minnesota staying down would be great benefit to TJ and his new staff.

Yes, as in Jalen Suggs and Jericho SimsLooks to have connections to Minnesota, which is huge. The MSP area has been absolutely loaded with talent lately, and if we could make some inroads there it would benefit us.
They are paying him like 1.3 million a year. Don't think Craig Smith would have gone for that. Why didn’t the Gophers hire Craig Smith. Instead they hired a Guy with No Head Coaching Experience. Gopher University President should have gotten involved.
Minny was more worried about checking boxes instead of finding the right coach. Why didn’t the Gophers hire Craig Smith. Instead they hired a Guy with No Head Coaching Experience. Gopher University President should have gotten involved.

Or Craig Smith isn’t as impressive as everyone here wants to believe just because he’s “not TJ”.

ESPN struggled to find positives about the hire so they highlighted that he recruited future pro Amir Coffey (undrafted and on a 2 way contract). One of the more PC schools in the Midwest.
This guy may kill it at Minny, but surprised by an assistant hire.
TJ on KXnO made it sound like staffing may be done anywhere from a week to 10 days. Stressing that they want it right more than wanting it done.
