Totally different players. Rim runner vs space heater. I don't think I'd mind seeing a space heater available on the bench, given how they rebounded the past few years.

EDIT: given how they "haven't" rebounded the past few years.
I know they’re different players and I’m sorry but Conditt isn’t good at what he’s supposed to be good at. Phyfe would eat Conditt alive in the half court and probably foul Conditt out of the game with his post moves. Lol

I have a tough time seeing AJ leaving unless Jake does. He's only going to play one more year and you'd figure he'd rather play for a team that is going to compete for a Valley title and a tournament berth rather than a full rebuild.

But we shall see...
Why is he only going to play one more year?

I didn't say it. Justin Hamilton did. My problem with Robinson is he recruits guys from Chicago like THT that don't give a crap about ISU or playing team basketball. That's not going to work here.
Cmon. He recruits the players the head coach wants him to recruit. Plus, if a talent like THT is willing to come to your program you take him. We have no idea what was going on behind the scenes with that team. All I know is it was not managed well. Maybe TJ could have handled that situation better.

I don't think TJ would have recruited THT. The way he played here it was obvious that promises were made to get him. It was an embarrassment to team basketball and the reason a team with multiple NBA draft picks couldn't finish better than .500 in the conference.

But we shall see...

Does AJ have NBA aspirations?

I didn’t know if you could possibly get an extra year due to his knee injury ( I think that happened too late in the season though) or with COVID? I wouldn’t blame him for not coming, he’s probably bonded with Jacobson and the team

I think the fact the Jacobson interviewed at Minnesota would be reason to question whether you wanted to stay. I would guess that AJ would have been asked to follow to Minnesota, but when your coach is looking why shouldn't the player.

Is it possible he wants to test himself against Big 12 competition and get more exposure? I haven’t really been following UNI bball closely, but are they actually supposed to be good next year? They were bad this year and going by what I saw this season, the MVC will run through Loyola and/or Drake with the rest a very distant 3rd.

I must be confused, I thought he had hip surgery. Was out most of season.

A foursome of Tyrese Hunter, AJ green, Bolton, and Xavier Foster could make this turnaround REAL quick! Has any team ever gone from winless in conference play to an NCAA tournament birth the next year? Because I think it's realistic if this happens.

aj/tyrese could split pg duties while the other runs the 2.

With what we know about who's coming back in the Valley, I expect the preseason poll will have Drake, UNI, Missouri State and Loyola pretty bunched up an probably in that order. The Valley is actually in line to have it's best year since the 4 bid year. There's lot of talent and experience in those four teams even if Krutwig and Williamson leave (which is expected).

To answer above, AJ does have NBA aspirations and when he went through the process they loved his shooting and scoring ability and told him to work on lateral movement (the hip surgeries should help with that) and rebounding positioning.
