For all the criticism of seeding, elite 8 had 3 1-seeds, a 2 and a 3.
Final 4 quite likely will have 3 1's and a 2.

I actually get the vibe that Drew is a weasel when it comes to recruiting.
A friend of mine here in Texas has always told me that he's heard things that imply Drew is not as squeaky clean as he seems. All I can say is that he's proven to be a hell of a coach.

Honestly, getting Gonzaga and Baylor right was a given, and they're really the only two who matter.

I agree, although I think Michigan winning without Livers shows they belong as a 1-seed. The point is that in a one game, win or go home tournament, saying team A is over or under seeded based on a win or a loss isn't accurate. Illinois losing to Loyola doesn't mean either was mis-seeded.

Did anyone notice that Grant Hill though Baylor was Oregon for most of the game? Why didn't anyone correct him?
Man, I love Mitchell for Baylor. That kid is fun to watch. Drew has absolutely killed it with transfer recruiting recently and it isn't guys that are extremely high profile. Actually think if there had been a tournament last year, this would be their second straight Final Four. I think last year could have been a year we saw a Big 12 championship game in the national Final between Baylor and KU.
Baylor and Houston should be a really fun matchup.
